When tough isn't enough. These boots are engineered to take winter in their stride. Built from Blizzard WP, a smooth premium leather treated with grit, salt and water-resistant finishes, the boots are set on Dr. Martens uniquely designed hybrid DM's WinterGrip sole for added traction, and lined with black fleece to keep out the cold. More than a match for harsh winter conditions, the slip-resistant boots are fitted with hiker-style striped laces and gold eyelets as well as a bitter chocolate sole and premium welt detailing.
I was excited to see the new DM wintergrip/insulated boots, and while I had huge expectations because, well they are Doc Martens... they blew me away in comfort, grip, and warmth. 2nd day wearing these boots in Fairbanks Alaska I wore them on ice-covered cement, wore them 12 hours at work, and came home and took my dog on an hour-long walk at 10 degrees. My feet stayed warm, dry, and super comfortable with not even a hint of losing my grip. I ordered one size up for a heavier sock, and I will be ordering another pair in black. I have not had them out yet at -20, but looking forward to seeing how they work in the really cold weather of Alaska. FANTASTIC, not one negative thing to say. DM, you have rocked my feet for decades!
