I like the material. I think it’ll repel water well and is similar to a wet suit material, as a reviewer mentioned. The fit is just right - I can wear a sweater without the arms being too tight. Another reviewer commented about the ENORMOUS hood and they were not kidding - it’s ridiculously large! It comes all the way down to my chin! It’s impossible to see! Not sure why they made it so big, but the whole reason I bought this cost was for the hood (to keep my hair dry on rainy/snowy days). If you’re OK not seeing when you’re walking with a hood on, go for this coat. Otherwise, remove the hood (yes, it’s removable) and keep using an umbrella.
